YANGON, Oct. 1 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar earned over 7.3 billion U.S. dollars in export earnings in nearly six months of the 2023-2024 fiscal year, according to the ministry of commerce on Sunday.
From April 1 to Sept. 22, the country's total exports earned over 2.23 billion dollars from the public sector and over 5.06 billion dollars from the private sector, it said.
Official figures showed that the export earnings declined compared to the same period of last year when it recorded over 8.23 billion dollars from exports.
