KABUL -- Four people were killed and 25 others wounded after a bomb explosion ripped through a mosque next to Afghanistan's Interior Ministry here on Wednesday.
"A blast occurred at a mosque near the Ministry of Interior on Wednesday. Four worshippers were martyred and 25 others were injured," Interior Ministry spokesman Abdul Nafi Takor confirmed on his Twitter account, adding that an investigation is underway. (Afghanistan-Explosion-Casualties)

PHNOM PENH -- A centuries-old sandstone naga's head was recently spotted in the vicinity of Tep Pranam temple inside the ancient city of Angkor Thom in Cambodia's famed Angkor Archaeological Park, the APSARA National Authority (ANA) said in a news release on Wednesday.
The naga's head sculpture was found when a large tree fell down, causing the item buried in the ground for many years to emerge from the tree's roots, the ANA said. (Cambodia-Head Sculpture-Discovered)

KABUL -- Afghanistan has received a batch of 40 million U.S. dollars in humanitarian cash aid for bolstering its economy, said Da Afghanistan Bank (DAB), the country's central bank in a statement on Wednesday.

JAKARTA -- The Indonesian police confirmed on Wednesday that a total of 131 people have died in a stampede last weekend after a football match in the country's province of East Java.
