ULAN BATOR, July 24 (Xinhua) -- Mongolia's COVID-19 tally rose to 155,224 after 1,442 more locally transmitted cases were recorded over the past 24 hours, the country's health ministry said Saturday.
Meanwhile, six deaths were reported in the past day, bringing the national tally to 794, the ministry said in a statement.
The Asian country began a nationwide COVID-19 vaccination campaign in late February, aiming to cover at least 60 percent of its 3.3-million population.
So far, 58.9 percent of the country's total population has been fully vaccinated against the virus, according to the ministry.
